North Texas SC Snaps Four Game Winless Streak with 2-0 Road Win over MNUFC2

BLAINE, Minnesota (May 9, 2026) – North Texas SC (3-4-3, 14 points) defeated  MNUFC2 (4-4-1, 14 points) 2-0 at National Sports Center Stadium on Saturday Night. Goals from Ricky Louis and Enzo Newman secured the three points on the road.

ENZO SCORES HIS FIRST
FC Dallas Defender Enzo Newman scored his first professional career goal in the 26th minute of the match. The Oregon State Beaver alum returned from an ACL injury earlier this year, and has 13 career appearances for North Texas SC.

RICKY LOUIS ADD HIS FIRST
*FC Dallas Forward Ricky Louis scored his first professional career goal in the 41st minute of the match. Louis made his professional debut with Dallas on March 7, against LAFC. The Georgia Southern alum was drafted second overall by Dallas in the 2026 MLS SuperDraft.

CLEAN SHEET FOR NICO
Goalkeeper Nico Montoya made two saves to secure his first professional clean sheet of his career, and first for the club this season. Montoya made his return to North Texas last match against Austin FC II on May 2nd.
