KANSAS CITY, Missouri (July 18, 2025) – North Texas SC (8‑7‑3, 29 points) cruises to a 4-1 victory over Sporting Kansas City II (0-12-4, 5 points) from Children’s Mercy Victory Field on Friday night. Captain Sam Sarver scored four goals tonight. This is the first poker ever scored in North Texas SC history.

GOALS GALORE FOR THE CAPTAIN
Forward Sam Sarver scored his first professional career poker with his 11th, 12th, 13th, and 14th goals of the season. Sarver becomes the first player to score a poker in franchise history. The Indiana Alum is also the first player to score a hat trick in MLS NEXT Pro and the first to do so for the club since Ronaldo Damus against the Richmond Kickers on Sept. 9, 2019, in USL League One play. The captain leads the MLS NEXT Pro Golden Boot Race. Sarver made his FC Dallas debut on July 4, 2025, against Minnesota United.

TWO ASSISTS FOR RAMIREZ
FC Dallas Homegrown midfielder Anthony Ramirez registered two assists tonight, moving him into the top three in assists in North Texas club history with 12 and first in game-winning assists with four. Ramirez leads the team in assists with six assists, breaking his single-season career high in MLS Next Pro.

FIRST START FOR FAVOUR
Midfielder Favour Aroyameh played 63 minutes and assisted Sarver’s second goal in his first start for the club. Aroyameh has three total appearances with the club, including his debut on July 3rd. He signed with North Texas on Feb. 20, 2025.

SCORING SURGE FOR NORTH TEXAS
North Texas SC scored four goals tonight, making it the first time in the 2025 MLS NEXT Pro season the club has reached four or more goals. The last occurrence was on Decision Day 2024, where North Texas scored eight goals against MNUFC2 on Oct. 6.
