Lawrence, Kansas (May 5, 2024) – North Texas SC (3-0-4, 16 points) obtained its third win of the 2024 MLS NEXT Pro season today following a 2-0 road win at Sporting Kansas City II (4-2-1, 13 points). North Texas remains as the only undefeated team in MLS NEXT Pro this season and moves up to second in the Western Conference. Defender Malachi Molina scored his first professional brace in his second appearance for North Texas in 2024.

With tonight’s 2-0 win over Sporting Kansas City II, North Texas SC improves to 2-0-1 when playing on the road in 2024. North Texas’ defense has only conceded one goal and has netted five goals in three matches away from home. Goalkeeper Michael Collodi registered his second road shutout of the season.
