MANSFIELD, Texas (Aug. 22, 2026) – North Texas SC (7-8-8, 33 points) won the extra-point shootout after drawing 1-1 in regulation against MNUFC 2 (8-10-5, 31 points) to add two points on Saturday night at Texas Health Mansfield. Ricky Louis scored the lone goal for North Texas.

Forward Ricky Louis scored his fourth goal of the season in added time of the first half. Louis now stands alone in third for the most goals scored for the club this season. The Georgia Southern alum was selected third overall by FC Dallas in the 2026 MLS SuperDraft this past December and made his FC Dallas debut on March 7, 2026.
