SEASIDE, California (July 19, 2026) – North Texas SC (6-6-5, 25 points) defeated San Jose Earthquakes II (8-6-3, 28 points), 1-0, at Cardinale Stadium on Saturday night. Defender Enzo Newman scored the match's lone goal to secure all three points for North Texas.

Defender Enzo Newman scored his second goal of the season in the 71st minute off a set piece. Newman leads North Texas with two game-winning goals this season. FC Dallas selected Newman with the 11th overall pick in the 2025 MLS SuperDraft out of Oregon State.
KAAKOUSH RETURNS
Midfielder Isaiah Kaakoush made his season debut after entering the match in the 82nd minute. Kaakoush returned after an 11-month recovery from a knee injury. The U.S. youth international has made 14 career appearances and scored one goal for North Texas SC.
DYMORA DENIES
Goalkeeper Eryk Dymora tied a career high with five saves and recorded his second clean sheet of the season. Dymora leads North Texas with 40 saves this year.
