MANSFIELD, Texas (July 4, 2026) – North Texas SC (5-5-5, 22 points) earned all three points on Texas Health Mansfield Stadium's opening day after defeating St Louis CITY2 3-0 Saturday night. MLS SuperDraft pick Ricky Louis scored his first professional brace and Homegrown Caleb Swann scored the second goal of the night for the Mansfield side.
A NEW ERA BEGINS
North Texas SC, Hunts Sports Group, and REV Entertainment officially began a new era by opening Texas Health Mansfield Stadium with a win. Forward Ricky Louis scored the club’s first goal at Texas Health Mansfield Stadium in the 53rd minute from a Caleb Swann assist. Louis has two goals for North Texas SC in eight matches. The Georgia Southern alum was drafted by FC Dallas with the second overall pick in the 2026 MLS SuperDraft.
WELCOME TO NORTH TEXAS DA’VIAN
North Texas SC forward Da’vian Kimbrough made North Texas debut tonight. Kimbrough earned his first assist as a North Texas SC player; his first professional assist. Kimbrough joined North Texas on loan from Sacramento Republic FC in June 2026.
