FRISCO, Texas (April 6, 2026) – North Texas SC midfielder Nathaniel “Natty” James has been named MLS NEXT Pro Player of Matchweek 5. It marks his first honor of the season and the club’s second following Edu Nys Player of Matchweek 2 honors.
James netted a brace in North Texas SC’s 4-1 win over Sporting Kansas City II last Saturday. He ranks second on the team in goals (2), and has one assist in 2026.
