North Texas Soccer Club is a founding member of USL League One and won the league's inaugural title with a 1-0 victory over Greenville Triumph SC. The club is affiliated with FC Dallas of Major League Soccer.
North Texas SC will play a majority of its home games at Globe Life Park in Arlington, the former home of the Texas Rangers. North Texas SC is led by head coach Eric Quill, a former Dallas Burn player. Serving as assistant coach is former FC Dallas player Michel Garbini
“USL League One offers an outstanding opportunity for our younger players to compete against quality opponents,” said FC Dallas President Dan Hunt. “Having a second professional team will allow us to create a culture throughout the organization that will help us succeed at every level.”

USL League One's 28-game season is scheduled to begin play the weekend of March 28, 2020 and conclude the weekend of October 3, 2020. The 2019 USL League One Playoffs will consist of six teams beginning the weekend of October 10-11, 2020. The final match of the postseason will take place from October 24-25, 2020.
