FC Dallas 2017 Supporters' Forum

SUPPORTERS' FORUM RECAPS

The Supporters’ Forum is designed for the leaders of the FC Dallas supporters groups, Dallas Beer Guardians, Lone Star Legion, and El Matador, to directly communicate with the front office and the supporters.

There will be a monthly forum on the first Tuesday of each month at Toyota Stadium, beginning on March 7th through November 7th.  This forum will consist of two parts each month: a closed session and an open session, if necessary.  The closed session will begin at 6:30 with the public session beginning as close to 7:30 as possible.   The only exception to the set/date and time will be in the month of July, which coincidentally falls on July 4th.  We will work with the supporters group leadership to identify the solution for that month and communicate out in advance for all to be aware.

The closed session will be comprised of the elected leadership for FC Dallas recognized supporters groups and the FCD front office staff. There will be an agenda set for each monthly meeting that will contain topics suggested by leadership and their supporters group members.  The agenda will be confirmed by the Friday previous of the Tuesday meeting, and will be sent to the designated leadership of each supporters group.   Supporters group leadership will have the ability to alter the agenda prior to close of business Monday, one day previous to the Tuesday meeting.  General membership interested in knowing the agenda, or placing an agenda item, should work through their respective leadership.   Minutes will be kept and recorded for future reference of any note.

Should it be necessary, the open session will follow immediately after the closed session is complete. This will be a chance for supporters and fans to attend the session in-person. The supporters leadership will communicate the topics that were discussed as well as the feedback and decisions that were made during the closed session. The supporters and fans will have the opportunity to ask questions and bring their own agenda items for the public meeting.  Those wanting to speak on behalf of something, or bring a new agenda item to the public session, will check in and formalize their request to do so upon arriving.   Those issues brought forth in the public session, which were not on the closed session agenda, will either be discussed and resolved as possible that evening or tabled as an agenda item for the following month.
