The club kicks off its third USL League One season and its second playing at Globe Life Park
FRISCO, Texas – North Texas SC will host Fort Lauderdale CF on Saturday, April 24 at 7:30PM at Globe Life Park, in a match presented by MTX, to kick off its 2021 USL League One season. The match will be streamed live on ESPN+.
North Texas SC is 2-0-0 in home openers, having defeated Chattanooga Red Wolves SC 3-2 in its first-ever match in 2019 and beating Forward Madison FC 2-1 last season in its first match at Globe Life Park.
The club has a 1-1-0 record against Fort Lauderdale CF, the USL League One affiliate of MLS side Inter Miami CF. North Texas SC fell 3-2 at Fort Lauderdale Stadium in the clubs’ first-ever meeting before defeating the Floridians 3-0 at Globe Life Park last October.
North Texas SC will travel to Legacy Early College to face 2020 USL League One title-winners Greenville Triumph SC on May 1 before facing Toronto FC II at Grande Sports World in Casa Grande, Arizona on May 22. The remainder of North Texas SC’s 2021 schedule will be announced at a later date. Tickets for the 2021 home opener and all regular season home matches will go on sale following the release of the entire schedule.
