2020 Lineup Notes DL V2

LINEUP NOTES, pres. by UnitedHealthcare: FC Dallas vs. Nashville SC | 10.20.20

FRISCO, Texas - Luchi makes just one change from the XI that earned a 1-0 win over Sporting Kansas City last week as FCD travels to face Nashville SC at Nissan Stadium tonight, Oct. 20 at 7:30PM.

Ferreira Back In
Forward Jesús Ferreira gets his first start in four games in place of Michael Barrios who's unavailable due to yellow card accumulation. Ferreira has often been used as a late-game substitute during the second half of this season but makes the starting lineup at right wing this time around. The versatile Homegrown will look to add to his tally of one goal and one assist tonight against Nashville.

Tessmann at the #6
Midfielder Tanner Tessmann once again starts at the defensive midfield spot in place of Thiago Santos. The Homegrown has started in five of FCD's six victories this season and will look to make it six out of seven tonight. It will be Tessmann's eighth start of the season and his second at the #6 defensive midfield position.

Bressan Keeps his Place
Defender Bressan starts alongside Reto Ziegler in the center of defense for the second consecutive game (Matt Hedges is still unavailable with a muscle strain sustained against Houston earlier this month). Bressan helped Dallas earn its fifth shutout of the season with the 1-0 win over SKC last week and he'll be looking for a similar performance this time around.
