FC Dallas Earns Shutout in 1-0 Win Against Sporting Kansas City

Ryan Hollingshead scores game-winner to snap four-game winless streak

Frisco, Texas (Oct. 14, 2020) – Fifth-place FC Dallas (6-4-6) defeats third-place Sporting Kansas City (9-6-2) 1-0 thanks to a goal from Ryan Hollingshead at Toyota Stadium Wednesday night.

Game Summary
First Half
:

  • 14’ – Ryan Hollingshead sends a through ball to Andrés Ricaurte inside the box who links with Franco Jara on his right, but Sporting Kansas City’s Tim Melia is alert and makes a low save.
  • 27’ – Tanner Tessmann connects with Fafa Picault with a long-range shot inside the six-yard box but his attempt is shot over the bar.
