Arlington, Texas (Sept. 19, 2020) - North Texas SC comes back to earn a 1-1 draw with FC Tucson at Globe Life Park Saturday night despite a first half red card. 

Game Summary

First Half:

  • 15’ – Thomas Roberts left-footed shot attempt hit the outside of the net of FC Tucson’s goal.
  • 16’ – FC Tucson’s Shak Adams shot went down the middle and into the hands of Carlos Avilez.
  • 25’ – Thomas Roberts free kick shot at goal was saved by Amahl Knight and out for a North Texas SC corner.
  • 41’ – Arturo Rodriguez shot from the center of the box was smashed against FC Tucson’s right post. 
  • 45’ – Elivelton Oliveira heads the ball into the net following a set piece cross from Charlie Dennis to give FC Tucson the lead.

Second Half:

  • 68’ – FC Tucson’s Manel Ferriol shot was comfortably punched away by Carlos Avilez.
