Last time out, Dallas earned a 1-1 draw away to Sporting KC - a game which saw Luchi Gonzalez forced to make three first-half injury substitutions. NEXT MAN UP

ANDRÉS RICAURTE

  • New midfield signing Andrés Ricaurte made Dallas' match day squad for the first time last week in Kansas City. Although he didn't see the field, it's a promising sign that he's being readied for his MLS and FCD debut. Considering Pomykal is looking at six months on the sidelines following surgery, Ricaurte could be called upon to fill the Homegrown playmaker's boots sooner rather than later.

ZOBECK DEBUTS

  • Following a first-half injury to starting keeper Jimmy Maurer, Iowa native Kyle Zobeck made his MLS debut against SKC a full seven years after being drafted by the club in the 2013 MLS Supplemental draft. It made him the oldest player taken in an MLS draft (whether that draft be Super, Supplemental, College, etc.) to make his debut at 30 years, 209 days old. With Maurer still recovering, Zobeck is slated to make his first MLS start this Wednesday in Minnesota.
