FRISCO, Texas - As MLS continues to expand, so does the number of high-level international talents on the pitch. This season, FC Dallas squares off against some of Mexico's finest stars, including LA Galaxy’s newest superstar, Javier “Chicharito” Hernández.
With the Pick Your Plan initiative, fans can enjoy a combination of any three matches for as low as $45. Today we're highlighting The Mexican Superstar package which combines FCD's home matches against Los Angeles FC (4/4), Sporting KC (5/30) and LA Galaxy (7/11) which sees Mexican standouts Alan Pulido, Carlos Vela and Chicharito visit Toyota Stadium.
Los Angeles FC – April 4, 2:30 p.m.
For the first match in the bundle, FC Dallas hosts last season’s MLS Supporters’ Shield champion, LAFC, presented by Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano.
Carlos Vela, one of the league’s most exciting players, leads one of the league’s best teams into Frisco to kick off the month of April.
Last season, the two battled out an intense 1-1 draw at Toyota Stadium. Vela scored a late equalizer from the penalty spot. You won’t want to miss this one.
Sporting KC – May 30, 7:30 p.m.
The second match of the bundle sees FC Dallas host Sporting KC, presented by MoneyGram. Like Chicharito, Sporting KC’s newest signing, Alan Pulido, also decided the time was right to move to MLS.
In 2016, Pulido became Guadalajara’s most expensive signing, when he moved from Greece’s Olympiacos for six and a half million Euros. Last season, the forward scored 12 goals and provided two assists in his Liga MX campaign and is sure to bring plenty more with him to Kansas City.
Another one of Mexico’s brighter talents, the 28-year-old’s visit to Toyota Stadium is not one to miss.
LA Galaxy – July 11, 7:30 p.m.
The third and final match of bundle sees LA Galaxy come to town, presented by Chick-Fil-A. Fans can enjoy an exclusive Chick-Fil-A offer in their app during the match and watch the league’s latest superstar, Chicharito, face off against Luchi Gonzalez and his FC Dallas squad.
Chicharito has graced the sport since his early days at Guadalajara and Manchester United. He has scored 52 goals for the Mexican National team in 109 appearances and is one of three Mexican players to score in three different World Cups.
