FRISCO, Texas – The Boys U-12 team traveled to South Florida this past weekend to compete in the Villarreal Yellow Cup, powered by La Liga. The tournament is the most exclusive youth soccer tournament aimed at U12s and saw participation from clubs from across the State of Florida, MLS teams and, of course, Villarreal CF from November 8th-10th.
In the group stage, FC Dallas competed against Doral Soccer Club, Ives Estates Premier, and Weston FC. The Semifinals, finals, and consolation matches took place on November 10th.

The U-12s made it to the semifinal round where they faced the New York Red Bulls Academy. Matt Kent, Zach Molomo, and Julian Chamleunsouk all scored goals throughout the tournament.
