ACADEMY: Results from the Weekend of October 12th

FRISCO, Texas- The girls academy teams hosted Solar Soccer Club at Toyota Soccer Center this past weekend, while the Boys Academy had the U-17s and U-15s competing in the first round of Generation Adidas Cup qualifiers, and the younger teams were on the road. Here's the results from a busy weekend. 


  • U-17s: The U-17s finished the first two days of the GA Cup qualifiers losing to Vancouver 2-1 with Philip Akeem scoring their one goal. They won against LAFC 3-2 with Philip Akeem, Slade Starnes, and Jose Gutierrez finding the net. 
  • U-15s: The U-15s finished their first match against Vancouver in a draw, but won the overtime penalty shootout. They won their match over LAFC with Nighte Pickering scoring the winning goal. 
  • U-14s: The U-14s won their match against the RISE Houston U-14s with Malachi Molina scoring twice, Jack Minsky, and Aiden Bazzel all finding the net in the first half of the match. 
  • U-13s: The U-13s won their match in Houston with a final score of 3-1. Brice Miller scored a hat trick that lead to the FC Dallas victory scoring twice in the first 15 minutes of the match, and the third goal in the second half.

  • U-19s: The U-19s won their match against Solar 4-1 with Kaitlyn Giametta scoring twice, along with Samar Guidry and Samiah Phiri finding the net. 
  • U-17s: The U-17s fell to Solar Soccer this weekend with a final score of 0-4. 
  • U-16s: The U-16s lost to Solar Soccer club 3-2. Taylor Zdrowjewski scored twice in the first half, but couldn't come back with a third goal after Solar scored in the 78th minute to take the lead.  
  • U-15s: The U-15s had a dominant win over Solar Soccer with a final score of 4-0. Madison Stormberg scored the first two goals of the match, with Jaden Thomas and Aryanna Jimison sealing the victory.

NEXT WEEK: The FC Dallas Boys Academy U-17s and U-15s have one more match this Monday in Colorado to finish the first round of the Generation Adidas Cup qualifiers. The boys academy will then return to Toyota Soccer Center this weekend for regular play with the U-19s hosting St. Louis FC, and U-14s and U-13s having multiple matches at MoneyGram Soccer Park over the weekend.  The boys U-17s and U-15s are off until November 2nd.
