Game Summary

First Half:

  • 22’ Bryan Acosta gets FC Dallas’ first big chance of the night after getting a ball from Michael Barrios just outside the 18-yard box, but his shot goes high above the crossbar.
  • 28’ Thomas Roberts finds Carlos Gruezo outside the box, but the Ecuador international’s shot goes above the goal by inches.
  • 33’ – FC Dallas gets on the scoreboard after Ryan Hollingshead heads the ball in the box and it deflects off of Seattle’s Xavier Arreaga and into the net.
  • 38’ – FC Dallas doubles its lead when Seattle’s Brad Smith puts the ball in his own net after a Barrios cross.

  • 85’ – Joevin Jones fires a left-footed shot from the top of the box but Jesse Gonzalez makes his first save of the night.
  • 87’ Dominique Badji dribbles past a Seattle defender with ease and finds a wide open Acosta at the edge of the box but his shot is too high.
