FRISCO– FC Dallas might be on the road this weekend, but there will be a historic match at Toyota Stadium on Saturday, March 30. North Texas SC kicks off its inaugural USL League One season against Chattanooga Red Wolves SC at 6pm. Whether you're a Toyota Stadium regular or it’s your first-time visiting, here's everything you need to know to plan your game day experience.
Like FC Dallas matches, all parking will be free. Parking passes will not be enforced for this match. (click to enlarge map).
Gates for the match will open at 5 p.m. Fans can enter at the Northwest and West gates. Please note the clear bag policy will be in effect. In the event of inclement weather, NO umbrellas are allowed, but ponchos are acceptable. Blankets may also be brought and do not have to fit into a clear bag, but are subject to inspection. The first 2,500 fans that enter Toyota Stadium will receive a commemorative ticket.
Fans with a ticket to the match can sit anywhere on the west side of the stadium or the Budweiser Beer Garden. Click here for a seating map.
- Eric Quill’s first game as a professional coach will be against his former coach and mentor. Chattanooga’s head coach Tim Hankinson was the coach who gave head coach Eric Quill a shot at the professional level during his playing days. Hankinson coached Quill in Nike’s Project-40 (now Generation Adidas) and also at the Tampa Bay Mutiny.
- Ricardo Pepi has started his professional career by scoring six goals in four preseason games. He’s been featured in USL’s 5 Forwards to Watch for the 2019 season. He’s the top forward prospect in his age group in the US. He was also the youngest player in the USMNT U-17 team last year and scored the game-winning goal against Turkey.
- Oscar Romero was also featured in USL’s Five Midfielders to Watch.
