INJURY REPORT pres. by Texas Health Sports Medicine: FC Dallas vs. Columbus Crew | 3.16.19

FRISCO - Both FC Dallas and Columbus Crew SC will be missing a key piece of their backlines as we take a look at the Texas Health Sports Medicine Injury Report for Week 3.

OUT: Milton Valenzuela (Knee Injury); Niko Hansen (Thigh Injury)

Columbus will continue to be without defender Milton Valenzuela after he underwent a ligament reconstruction in the offseason. Valenzuela played 30 regular season games with 6 assists in 2018. Crew SC will also be without midfielder Niko Hansen. Hansen had 3 assists, and 3 goals last year playing 22 games throughout the season. The midfielder was their third leading scorer and has a record of being agile in playing both left and right midfield.

Neither has appeared yet this season.

OUT: Cristian Colmán (left ACL tear); Francis Atuahene (left ruptured pectoral muscle); Jacori Hayes (hamstring injury); Reggie Cannon (ankle sprain)

FC Dallas will go without defender Reggie Cannon, who is recovering from an ankle sprain attained in last week's game against the LA Galaxy. They also will be missing Jacori Hayes who is still working through the hamstring injury sustained in the season opener, giving Paxton Pomykal a chance to further build a footing in his starting lineup.

Cristian Colman and Francis Atuahene will continue to appear on the injury report, both working to recover from serious injuries.
