Gruezo earns sixth International Call-up pres. by UnitedHealthcare of 2019
FRISCO - FC Dallas midfielder Carlos Gruezo has been called up to the Ecuador National Team during the FIFA International Break running from March 18 to March 26. Gruezo and La Tri will play matches against the United States (March 21) and Honduras (March 26).
The midfielder will report following the match against Columbus Crew SC on Saturday, March 16 at MAPFRE Stadium and will be unavailable for the next FC Dallas home game against Colorado Rapids on Saturday, March 23.
Gruezo, 23, has 21 career appearances with the Ecuadorian National Team. He was called up last November where he appeared in both wins against Peru and Panama. The defensive midfielder has started in both matches for FC Dallas this season and was named to MLS Team of the Week, presented by Audi, for Week Two following his performance in the 2-0 win against LA Galaxy where he led FC Dallas in tackles, gained possessions and touches.
