- 22’ – Sebastian Saucedo opens the scoring for Real Salt Lake after receiving a cut back from Pablo Ruiz at the top of the box and firing a curling shot past Kyle Zobeck and into the top corner of the net.
- 35’ – Joao Plata nearly doubles the lead for Real Salt Lake after a give away at the back from FC Dallas but the danger is cleared away.
- 56’ – Jesus Ferreira scores the equalizer after receiving a slipped pass from Dom Badji in behind the RSL defense and calmly put the ball in the back of the net.
- 58’ – Santiago Mosquera puts Dallas in the lead from the penalty spot after he was tripped in the box by Tony Beltran.
- 66’ – Dom Badji sees his penalty saved by Nick Rimando after VAR ruled there was a handball in the box.
