FRISCO - It's that time!
FC Dallas is set to unveil 'The Reunion Kit' as its brand-new secondary kit on February 12, 2019. Inspired by the architecture and design throughout downtown Dallas, the name itself will make more sense as more is revealed. Stay tuned!
The first chance the general public will have to see the new kits in-person will be at Cocktails and Cleats on Wednesday, February 27 in the Hall of Fame Club at Toyota Stadium. As the FC Dallas Foundation's signature fundraiser, it's the one night a year where fans can meet and interact with the entire team ahead of the 2019 season. Tickets are on-sale now (Season Ticket Members can reach out to their rep for special pricing)!
Tomorrow: The Reunion Patch
A constant on FC Dallas kits since Lamar Hunt's passing in 2006, the LH patch takes a Dallas twist with a special nod to the Reunion Tower. It's just one of the design elements inspired by Dallas, but obviously the leading point in the naming of The Reunion Kit.
Two Days: Badge and Striping
As we get closer to the reveal, we get our first glimpse at the front of the kit. First, a new material for the FC Dallas badge showcases more detailed and textured elements within the logo not seen in embroidered logos of the past. Also, around the logo a faint hint of design begins to take shape. An alternating diagonal striping ascends at a 45-degree angle across the chest of the jersey. It's inspiration comes from a highly-visible Dallas landmark.
Soon, all will be revealed.
One Week Out - White Base, Blue Stripes
From the first teaser, we get the initial glimpse at a white base of the jersey with blue stripes running down the sides - three lines of course in line with adidas' branding. It's not much to go on, but we'll see much more as we get closer.
