INTERNATIONAL: Reyna Reyes and Mexico Finish Second at FIFA U-17 WWC

FRISCO - The FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup concluded on Sunday with Spain claiming the title as FC Dallas' Reyna Reyes and Mexico’s U-17 team fell one goal short. The defender from Mequite played in every single match for Mexico’s historic squad, who became the first team to bring home a silver medal for their country.

Reyes started in five of the six matches, in Mexico's push for the cup and played a large role in Mexico getting to the tournament. She has been in FC Dallas program in 2007 and since the launch of the FCD Girls' Academy in 2017, has appeared in 32 games, started in all but two and scoring nine goals.

Although the team fell short, Reyes is coming home with a silver medal and the unforgettable experience of representing her country in the U-17 Women's World Cup.
