FRISCO - The five-game group stage is over and it's on to the Qualification Stage at the Concacaf U-20 Championships.
FC Dallas will have three representatives on the U.S. side for the second part of the U-20 World Cup Qualifier: Paxton Pomykal and Brandon Servania, who have played pivotal roles to this point, as well as Chris Richards, who was added to the U.S. roster on Sunday. Pomykal has three goals and three assists to his name, while Servania has two of each.
Adonijah Reid, who scored a goal and an assist for Canada, saw his tournament end as the Canadians missed the Qualification Stage after a third-place finish in Group D.
The Americans have been drawn into Group G for the six-team second stage, alongside Honduras and Costa Rica. Mexico, Panama and El Salvador make up the trio in Group H with the top two teams in each group qualifying for the U-20 World Cup and the winners of each meeting in the tournament's final on Wednesday, Nov. 21.
The U.S. U-20s won't play until Friday, when they'll face Costa Rica at 6:30PM, before playing Honduras on Monday, Nov. 19 at 7PM.
