INTERNATIONAL: Paxton Pomykal and Brandon Servania Add Three More Points in US U-20 Win

FRISCO – For the second time in three games, a FC Dallas player was named the ussoccer.com Man of the Match for the U-20 Men's National Team. This time around, it was midfielder Brandon Servania.

He scored the opening goal for the United States in a 6-1 rout over Trinidad & Tobago in the Concacaf U-20 Championship.

Servania received the ball from about 30 yards out and took one touch before ripping the ball in the bottom left corner.

Paxton Pomykal added a goal and an assist of his own. After a Trinidad & Tobago turnover, Justin Rennicks crossed the ball towards the penalty spot and Pomykal came rushing up the pitch to extend the lead to 3-0 just before the half.

In the 52nd minute, Pomykal beat his man to the goal line and found Alex Mendez for an easy goal.

Pomykal is only one of three players on the team who has recorded a goal in all three matches.

Next up, the U.S. will face Saint Vincent and the Grenadines on Wednesday at 7PM. Saint Vincent and the Grenadines are 1-2, scoring six goals and allowing five. The United States have outscored its opponents 26-2.

The U.S. can clinch a spot in the next round with a win and a draw between Trinidad & Tobago and Suriname.
