FRISCO – FC Dallas’ match this weekend at Children’s Mercy Park vs. Sporting Kansas City has been bumped back 30 minutes to 8PM CT and will now be nationally televised on ESPN, Major League Soccer announced today.
This is the first of two MLS regular-season matches against Sporting Kansas City (9-5-6, 3rd place) this season. FC Dallas (11-3-6) will host Sporting at Toyota Stadium on Sunday, October 21 during the National Soccer Hall of Fame Weekend.
FC Dallas’ next home match is Saturday, August 4, vs. San Jose. That match, presented by MoneyGram, will kick off at 7 PM CT.
The first Saturday in August also marks the opening of Toyota Stadium’s Hall of Fame Club Seat section. Under construction since 2016, the Hall of Fame Club Seat section opening celebration will kick off at 4:25 PM with a South End Social and ribbon cutting ceremony in front of the South End entrance. This will be fans first chance to walk through the Hall of Fame gates and get the full match day experience.
From 4:30-5:30 PM, fans can preview the Open Cup Club, which features a 100-foot long bar offering $2 beer and half-off Lunazul cocktails. During the preview party, fans can tour the brand new press conference and media room where FC Dallas head coach Oscar Pareja shares his postgame thoughts with the media after every match.
