LOS ANGELES - As FC Dallas and LAFC get set for Saturday's inaugural meeting at Banc of California Stadium, let's take a look at who will and won't be available for each side.
Los Angeles Football Club
OUT: Luis Lopez (Tibial Stress Fracture), João Moutinho (Ankle Sprain), Marco Ureña (Facial Fracture)
The biggest name on the injury report this week for LAFC is Marco Ureña, who suffered a facial fracture in last weekend's win over Seattle. He's led the newcomers with five assists on the season and his absence could be aided by recent addition Lee Nguyen from New England. Joāo Moutinho remains on the injury report, but did make his return last week after missing two matches, coming on for the final two minutes of the match. He had started each of LAFC's first matches of the year prior to injury.
Goalkeeper Luis Lopez remains out and has not made an appearance in 2018.
OUT: Paxton Pomykal (right knee surgery)
QUESTIONABLE: Maynor Figueroa (right knee strain), Jesse Gonzalez (finger strain)
The injury report is getting smaller and smaller for FCD as the calendar hits May. Kellyn Acosta, who made his first 18-man roster last week is off the report and could make his 2018 debut on Saturday. Maynor Figueroa and Jesse Gonzalez are listed as questionable, but have both been training fully during the week leading up to #LAFCvFCD.
