FRISCO - Oscar Pareja has already left his mark on FC Dallas in more ways than we can count, but he's about to make another move up the franchise's record books.
With Papi's next win, he will surpass his predecessor Schellas Hyndman to take sole possession of second place among Dallas head coaches in all-time wins. Currently, the duo are tied at 62 wins, trailing current record holder Dave Dir and his 81 wins all-time.

He could set the secondary mark as early as Sunday against a Seattle Sounders side that has not been kind to Pareja over his first four seasons, with a 4-8-3 record against the Sounders in regular season play. Dallas is undefeated (2-0-1) in their last three matches against Seattle at Toyota Stadium with two postseason home wins in that span as well.
Pareja (.580) holds the best winning percentage among Dallas head coaches all-time and could conceivably, with a historic season, equal Dir's mark (would need 19 wins to tie, career-high is 18 wins in a season).
Regardless, at some point during 2018, he is likely to surpass 100 wins as an MLS head coach, currently holding a 87-70-49 marks including his two seasons at the helm in Colorado.
