FRISCO - After a whirlwind 48 hours, Amer Sasivarevic and Noah Franke are officially in Dallas and already have two practices under their belts.
The duo were taken in the third and fourth rounds of the 2018 MLS SuperDraft on Sunday afternoon and were on the ground, ready to go for day one of preseason on Monday. Now, both are look to make the most of their opportunity.
“It was exciting and it all happened so quick, and the next day I was here in Dallas.” Amer said of the past two days. “I’m just thankful for the opportunity and am here to work my hardest to impress the coaches and help my team anyway I can.”
Franke, who first found out he was drafted by a simple tweet, was also grateful for the opportunity and is excited to be here. His first two practices have been a lot of work, though.
“The first two training sessions have been super high intensity the level the pace is obviously a lot quicker but it’s something we can all adjust to,” he said. “As for myself, I’m just trying to show that I can contribute at this level and bring something to this team that’s not already there.”
