FC Dallas Exercises Contract Options on Six Players, Declines Options on 10 for 2018 Season

20 players are currently under contract for the 2018 season

FRISCO – FC Dallas has exercised contract options on six players and has not exercised options on 10 others for the 2018 season.

Goalkeeper Chris Seitz is also out of contract. The 11-year MLS veteran has spent the last seven seasons with FC Dallas, making 67 starts and 175 saves for a 1.29 GAA during his tenure. He is eligible for MLS free agency.

FC Dallas will exercise the 2018 contract options on Tesho Akindele, Mauro Diaz, Jacori Hayes, Ryan Hollingshead, Victor Ulloa and Walker Zimmerman.

The 2018 contracts options for Carlos Cermeño, Eduardo “Pollo” Cortes, Hernan Grana, Cariaco Gonzalez, Aaron Guillen, Atiba Harris, Walker Hume and Javier Morales were not exercised. Harris also qualifies for MLS free agency.

The options for Coy Craft and Maynor Figueroa also were not exercised. However, FC Dallas continues to work with Craft and Figueroa on new deals for the 2018 season.
