2017 Power Rankings: Week Seven

FRISCO − After almost winning the match against the Earthquakes, FC Dallas left Avaya Stadium with a 1-1 draw, splitting the points with San Jose. Was it enough to keep them on top of the power rankings? We surveyed the media to find out.

"Defending Supporters’ Shield champions FCD haven’t really done much to give anyone a reason to doubt they’re still the best team in MLS. But that title is being threatened by Sporting KC and the Timbers — their next two opponents — in this early part of the year."
