PANAMA CITY, Panama -- The U.S. Men's National Team fought hard in Panama and came away from the match with one point after a 1-1 draw against Panama. The team sits fourth in the Hex standings and will continue the road to qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup this summer when the USA hosts Trinidad & Tobago on June 8, followed by a trip to Mexico on June 11.
While Walker Zimmerman and Kellyn Acosta didn't see any action on Friday night against Honduras, Kellyn Acosta made an appearance at the World Cup Qualifier when he came in the 75' for Jermaine Jones, and the FC Dallas fans took notice.
Still can't believe 21yo Kellyn Acosta is from Plano Tx and playing for the USMNT— dylan (@_dyIan_) March 29, 2017
I am looking forward to seeing Kellyn Acosta perhaps taking a bigger role within the #usmnt. Promising young central midfielder.— Brian Sciaretta (@BrianSciaretta) March 29, 2017
One major positive was Kellyn Acosta getting some important minutes. I can definitely see him taking the reins soon in the midfield.— Bob Sturm (@SportsSturm) March 29, 2017
