FC Dallas took a 1-0 lead off an own goal in the 18th minute when Jacori Hayes played Tesho a pass into the area. The Canadian international fainted right before driving left, towards the end line. Tesho sent a centering pass into the area for Paxton Pomykal, but a San Lorenzo player beat him to it, accidentally knocking the ball into the back of the net.
Three minutes later San Lorenzo evened the score, 1-1. Following a solid buildup in the home team's attacking third. Corujo put home the goal from the right side of the area, beating goalkeeper Jesse Gonzalez low, to his right side.
Homegrown Reggie Cannon was whistled for a foul in the box in the 34th minute, giving San Lorenzo a penalty kick. Romagnoli stepped up to take the kick, but Gonzalez made a diving save to his right side only to leave the rebound for the forward to finish off into the empty net to make it 2-1 for the home side.
FC Dallas Second Half Lineup (4-4-2): Seitz; Figueroa, Hedges, Zimmerman, Grana; Lamah, Gruezo, Acosta, Barrios; Colman, Urruti.
FC Dallas' second unit made it a 2-2 game in the 51st minute when Roland Lamah found Cristian Colman at the top of the box. Colman put winger Michael Barrios in on goal and the Colombian picked out the inside of the far post with a well placed, right footed shot.
San Lorenzo regained the lead, 3-2, in the 63rd minute. FC Dallas goalkeeper Chris Seitz came off his line to punch away a ball driven into the area from the right flank. Seitz made a second save on a volley after San Lorenzo recovered the rebound but was unable to stop the third attempt - a rocket shot from the top of the box that ripped into the far side netting.
Dallas equalized 11 minutes later when Figueroa hit Barrios on the left flank. Barrios cut inside, past a defender and delivered a perfect ball to Urruti, who turned his defender as he accepted the pass and smacked a sharp pass just inside the far post to make it 3-3.
A long ball out of the back from Matt Hedges eased the pressure from San Lorenzo in the 87th minute. Roland Lamah ran the ball down and was in position to score before being dragged down from behind. The ensuing free kick by Maynor Figueroa was sharp, played low and fast towards the back post but the San Lorenzo goalkeeper was equal to the task.
FC Dallas will play their fourth game in as many days when they face Racing on Saturday at 9 a.m. local, 6 a.m. Central.
