CONCACAF has announced a full broadcast schedule with every group stage match carried in both English and Spanish during the 2016-17 Champions League tournament, which begins this week.
Every match will be broadcast in Spanish on either Univision Deportes or its sister station Galavision, as well as via the Univision Deportes App and live streaming on Univision Now and UnivisionDeportes.com. All matches will also have radio coverage in Spanish on the ESPN radio networks.
In addition. all 48 games of the CCL group stage will be broadcast for free in high definition on Facebook Live, with graphics and English commentary created exclusively for the platform. Viewers can catch all the action through the official CONCACAF and Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League Facebook pages. The addition of streaming via Facebook Live will allow fans new ways to interact with the pages totaling over 2 million followers combined. The matches will be produced by CONCACAF TV, which has delivered the production over the last few years of high quality tournaments and events such as the Gold Cup, CONCACAF Cup and Copa America Centenario, all distributed worldwide and with a high level of success and outstanding feedback from audiences across markets.
FC Dallas' opening CCL match against Real Esteli FC on Thursday can be seen on Univision Deportes (Spanish) and on Facebook Live (English).
The remaining three matches will all be streamed via Facebook Live, with additional Spanish broadcast info to come at a later date.
