Goal of the Year

FC Dallas Trio Nominated for AT&T MLS Goal of the Year

It's end-of-year award season and that means it's time to select the 2015 AT&T MLS Goal of the Year! FC Dallas has had three players nominated for the award and you can click here to vote FC Dallas for Goal of the Year! Here are the nominees:

Blas Perez - May 9th vs LA Galaxy

Blas Perez is no stranger to scoring great goals, and this one was a wonderful team effort. Mauro Diaz supplied "Super Raton" with a filthy chipped pass and the big target forward did the rest working around his Panamanian teammate Jaime Penedo in goal before slotting home to start the furious comeback that saw FCD steal three points from the Galaxy in May.

Mauro Diaz - June 19th at Colorado Rapids

What a year it was for Mauro Diaz both as a goal scorer and provider. This one, however, was all about the service. Fabian Castillo went on a ridiculous, slaloming run before slotting a perfect pass to Mauro Diaz for the go-ahead goal at Colorado. What a play by the Colombian.

David Texeira - October 4th vs Houston Dynamo

Perhaps the goal of the season for FC Dallas, David Texeira emphatically broke a 1-1 draw in the second half from long-range to put FCD in front as they cruised to yet another 4-1 win over their Texas rivals.
