FC Dallas completed their 2015 MLS SuperDraft on Tuesday, selecting Oregon State midfielder Will Seymore with the 14th selection in the third round and former Canadian U-20 international Jaineil Hoilett with the 14th selection in the fourth round.
Seymore a 22-year-old, 5-11 170lb defender, who was born in Colorado but spent most of his younger years in England, was a four-year starter at Oregon State starting all 73 of his appearance over four years at the PAC-12 school. Seymore tallied seven goals and nine assists in his four years at Oregon State for the Beavers who reached the second round of the NCAA Tournament in 2014. Seymore was named to the All-Pac 12 Second Team and All-Far West Region Second Team.
Hoilett, a late addition to the 2015 MLS Combine, was drafted by FC Dallas after spending nearly the last decade in Europe. A 22-year-old winger who has had stints with German clubs FSV Frankfurt, Mainz and St. Pauli over the last five years, Hoilett is the younger brother of Queens Park Rangers midfielder Junior Hoilett and has previously trained with Toronto FC.
