FC Dallas opened the 2014 MLS Cup Playoffs, presented by AT&T, with a 2-1 Knockout Round win over Vancouver Whitecaps FC on Wednesday night. The victory advanced FCD to the Western Conference Semifinals where they'll face Clint Dempsey and the Supporters' Shield-winning Seattle Sounders.

FC Dallas will host the first match of the series this Sunday, Nov. 2 before wrapping up the two-leg series in Seattle on Monday, Nov. 10. The winner will face the winner of the other semifinal between the LA Galaxy and Real Salt Lake in the Western Conference Championship.
