FRISCO, Texas – FC Dallas improved its record to 9-4-4 (31 points), second best in the league behind the L.A. Galaxy (9-2-8, 35 points), with a 4-0 victory over the Portland Timbers Saturday night.
FC Dallas will train on the adidas Field at Pizza Hut Park on Monday, June 27 beginning at 9 a.m. CT. The team will then host Orlando City SC in a third round U.S. Open Cup match on Tuesday night at 8 p.m. FC Dallas gained entry to the tournament by finishing in the top six of the 2010 MLS regular season standings.
The defending Western Conference Champions will train on the adidas Field at Pizza Hut Park in preparation of their Saturday, July 2 match against the Columbus Crew on Wednesday and Thursday beginning at 8:30 a.m. Friday’s training session on the stadium field will also begin at 8:30 a.m. FC Dallas will host the Columbus Crew in the second leg of the Pioneer Cup this Saturday at 8 p.m.
