FRISCO, Texas – FC Dallas improved its record to 8-4-4 (28 points), second best in the league behind the L.A. Galaxy (9-2-7, 34 points), with a 2-1 victory over Chivas USA (4-6-5, 17 points) Saturday night at the Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif.
The defending Western Conference Champions return home to Pizza Hut Park this Saturday to face former FC Dallas star Kenny Cooper and the Portland Timbers (5-6-2, 17 points). The match is scheduled to kick off at 7:30 p.m. CT.
FC Dallas will train on the adidas Field at Pizza Hut Park on Monday, June 20 beginning at 9 a.m. CT. The first team will not train on Tuesday, June 21 while the FC Dallas Reserves travel to Midland, Texas to take on the West Texas United Sockers at Grande Communications Stadium. That match is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. CT. The full squad will train on the adidas Field at Pizza Hut Park on Wednesday and Thursday before moving to the stadium field on Friday. All training sessions are scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. CT and are open to the public unless otherwise noted.
