Weekly Training Schedule: Oct. 11-16

FC Dallas (12-2-14, 50 pts) returns to the training pitch this week after setting the MLS single-season unbeaten mark with a 2-2 draw versus Colorado Saturday night. The Dallas side’s 19-game unbeaten streak is not only the best in MLS single-season history, it ties the overall MLS mark set by the Columbus Crew when they went unbeaten from July 3, 2004 to April 2, 2005.

FC Dallas will take Monday off, and then train Tuesday through Thursday from 10 to 11:30 a.m. On Friday, the team will train from 9 to 10:30 a.m., before traveling to Salt Lake City in advance of Saturday’s contest with Real Salt Lake.

Two impressive MLS streaks will collide in the Saturday, Oct. 16 contest at Real Salt Lake as the reigning MLS champs defend their 25-game home unbeaten streak at Rio Tinto Stadium against the Dallas side’s MLS-record 19-game streak. FC Dallas came away with a 2-0 win on goals from Brek Shea and Atiba Harris earlier this season when both teams met at Pizza Hut Park on July 17.

Saturday’s game, which kicks off at 8 p.m. CT, airs live on Fox Sports Southwest Plus and ESPN Deportes 1540 AM.
