FC Dallas has signed Venezuelan winger Freddy Vargas on one-year loan from Deportivo Lara on Jan. 15, 2021. FC Dallas has the option to exercise a permanent transfer on Vargas’ contract following the duration of the loan in December 2021. Languages Spoken: Spanish

Vargas, 21, joins FC Dallas after spending four seasons with Venezuelan first-division side Deportivo Lara. He has appeared in 113 matches across all competitions, including seven appearances in Copa Libertadores.

NATIONAL TEAM

Vargas has been called up to represent the Venezuelan U-20 National Team in 2018.
