Arlington, TX (August 14, 2021) - North Texas SC downs North Carolina FC 4-0 with four different goal-scorers at Globe Life Park Saturday night. 

Game Summary

First Half:

  • 10’ GOAL (NTX) – Kalil ElMedkhar drove into the box and faked a right-footed shot before cutting onto his left and burying it near post to give North Texas the lead.
  • 26’ GOAL (NTX –.The ball bounced around North Carolina’s box before falling to Kazu who calmly slotted it home for his fifth goal in the last six games. 
  • 40’ GOAL (NTX) – North Texas earned its third goal of the half when newcomer Gabriel Morais finished confidently at the near post after a driving run from Derek Waldeck. 

Second Half:

  • 55’ CHANCE (NTX) – Substitute Nicky Hernandez drove into the box but his shot was saved well by Jake McGuire.
  • 59’ GOAL (NTX) – Nicky Hernandez stepped up and scored from the penalty spot after Gabriel Morais was fouled in the box.
  • 86’ SHOT (NTX) – Caiser Gomes' headed attempt sailed over the crossbar following a cross from ElMedkhar.
