FC Dallas Winger Jáder Obrian Named to MLSsoccer.com's Week 25 Team of the Week

FRISCO, Texas (September 16, 2021) - FC Dallas winger Jáder Obrian was named to MLSsoccer.com's Team of the Week for Week 25 after scoring his first MLS brace in the 3-3 draw with New York City FC on Tuesday, Sept. 14 at Red Bull Arena. This is Obrian’s first Team of the Week honor for the 2021 season. 
 
Obrian, 26, scored his fifth and sixth goals of the season in the 4th and 73rd minutes to help FC Dallas earn a point at Red Bull Arena. His early goal came after New York City FC’s ​​Anton Tinnerholm failed to clear a cross from Paxton Pomykal and found Obrian near the top of the six-yard box who finished the play with a right-footed shot to give Dallas a 1-0 lead. Obrian scored his second goal of the night five minutes after NYCFC had a 3-2 lead when he forced a turnover and sent the ball to Andrés Ricaurte who found Obrian through NYCFC’s defense and fired a right-footed shot past Sean Johnson.
