ACADEMY: Recap and Results from Weekend of February 29th

FRISCO, Texas- The Boys Academy returned to Toyota Soccer Center this past weekend where the U-14s and U-13s hosted Lonestar SC Academy. The Girls Academy headed down to Fort Worth to take on the Dallas Texans. 

Boys Academy:

Girls Academy: 

  • U-19s: The hot streak builds as we add another win to the record for the girls. Abby Mitchell scored a brace, while Kaitlyn Giametta and Samiah Phiri both scored individual goals. 
  • U-17s: The girls lost their momentum this weekend falling to the Dallas Texans 0-2. 
  • U-16s: Continuing to grow in their confidence and momentum, the girls won in fashion with a final score of 4-0. Alexis Lee scored a brace, while Kaydence Ramirez and and Sisley Stephens both got to the back of the net once. 
  • U-15s: Switching their traction to the win column, the U-15s walked away victorious this weekend with a final score of 2-0. Goals scored by Taylor Cheatham and Taylor Person
  • U-14s: Fought hard but fell just short to the Dallas Texans with a final score of 1-2. Caroline Martin scored the lone goal that kept FC Dallas on the board. 
  • U-13s: Continue to add to their win streak with another big win this weekend. They won 2-0 with goals from Dezeriah Scott and Sealey Strawn

NEXT WEEK: The Boys U-19s, U-17s and U-15s return to Toyota Soccer Center to host a double header with Real Colorado and the Colorado Rapids Academy. The rest of the Boys Academy is off this week.
