FRISCO, Texas – In honor of FC Dallas’ 25th Season Celebration, the club is committing to 25 Days of Service throughout the 2020 calendar year. Service projects will feature FC Dallas players and staff, as well as opportunities for fan participation. The 25 Days of Service will focus on a variety of initiatives that positively impact our North Texas communities.
FC Dallas kicked off the campaign by volunteering at the Frisco Family Services Food Pantry, whose programs and services help to meet the needs of those affected by hunger, homelessness and other urgent needs. While much attention is placed on the exciting boom, the City of Frisco has also witnessed a growing population of families who are experiencing a financial crisis. Loss of employment, medical issues, death and divorce are all contributing factors to the rise of families and individuals needing assistance.
Staff members spent an afternoon sorting and shelving canned food. Frisco Family Services helps members of our Frisco and Frisco ISD communities who are facing hunger, homelessness and other urgent needs improve their quality of life and achieve self-sufficiency.
Be sure to stay tuned to find out how you can get involved!
