FRISCO, Texas- FC Dallas returns to Toyota Stadium this weekend to take on Real Salt Lake with the goal of keeping their spot in the standings and earning another three points at home. If you can't make it out, here are some ways to keep up with the match.
Due to the DIRECTV/AT&T Uverse contract dispute, CBS-owned and operated stations (including duopolies and substations) in 17 CBS markets have been dropped from DIRECTV, U-verse and DIRECTV NOW subscribers.
This includes Dallas/Fort Worth. Meaning, the match between FC Dallas and Real Salt Lake will not be available to subscribers of those providers.
There are solutions that you can share with your friends/family should they ask you about this:
- Texas 21 is always available for free over the air (this is the benefit of having an OTA partner). A digital antenna is required to watch OTA TV. HERE is an article relating to purchasing and installing a digital antenna.
- Fans can also opt to watch with friends who are not subscribers to the aforementioned providers or visit a sports bar where the game will be shown.
