SANDY, Utah - FC Dallas and Real Salt Lake meet for the first time in 2019 as Dallas looks to carry the momentum forward from their win a week ago over Colorado.
For the first time in club history, FCD is starting five Homegrowns for a second straight match. The same five that saw the field a week ago will start again in Utah as Reggie Cannon, Edwin Cerrillo, Jesus Ferreira, Jesse Gonzalez and Paxton Pomykal get the starting nod. It is just the fifth time Dallas has every started five Homegrowns, the highest frequency coming in 2018 as the team started five twice in a three-game span.
ARANGUIZ ON THE WING
Pablo Aranguiz makes his second start of the season and his first on the wing after Dominique Badji suffered a hamstring injury in training this week and Santiago Mosquera aggravated an ankle injury he's carried for the last 10 days. The Chilean started against the Rapids in the attacking midfield, playing 67 minutes.
HAYES RETURNS, ZOBECK ON BENCH
After missing three matches with a hamstring injury of his own, Jacori Hayes returns to the bench tonight for FCD fully healthy. With Jimmy Maurer getting his first minutes of the season with North Texas SC tonight back at Toyota Stadium, Kyle Zobeck makes his first matchday roster of the season backing up Jesse Gonzalez in goal.
