FRISCO – Jesus Ferreira had an encore performance after scoring his first USL goal of the season last week. He netted a pair of goals for Tulsa Roughnecks FC in a 3-2 loss against Saint Louis FC.
Ferreira's first goal came in the 29th minute after he followed up a rebound. His first shot hit off the post before finishing the second chance. He later scored in the 93rd minute, taking a cross from the penalty kick spot and taking one touch with his right foot before putting the ball in the back of the net.
The Homegrown forward created a team-high three chances in the game. Brandon Servania also suited up for Tulsa. He played the full match, having one shot on target and completing 56 passes.
Chris Richards played 90 minutes for Bayern's U-19 team in a 2-0 loss to FC Kaiserslautern. Bayern's next league game is against SC Freiburg on September 15.
Adonijah Reid played two games for Ottawa Fury FC. In the first match, Reid came in as a substitute and registered 29 minutes in a 2-0 defeat to Bethlehem Steel FC. In the second match, he started and played 77 minutes in another 2-0 loss for the team. He created one chance and won two tackles in the match.
