FRISCO - FC Dallas midfielder Coy Craft and the U.S. Under-20 Men’s National Team advanced to the classification stage of the 2017 CONCACAF U-20 Championship in their quest to qualify for the 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
The Americans started the tournament with a 1-0 loss to Panama, but bounced back with wins over Haiti, 4-0, and St. Kitts and Nevis, 4-1, to earn a second-place finish in Group B and a spot in the next round. Craft subbed into all three matches off the bench, seeing 21 minutes against Panama, 9 minutes against Haiti and 45 minutes against St. Kitts and Nevis.

The U-20s find themselves now in a three-team classification stage group with Mexico and El Salvador. They will next face Mexico on Monday at 4 p.m. CT and El Salvador on Friday at 5:30 p.m. CT. Both games will be streamed on the CONCACAF Facebook page..
The top two teams of the three-team group will advance to the 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup later this year, with the top team advancing to the CONCACAF U-20 Championship Final. The third-place finisher will not qualify for either.
